We Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, 
After reviewing the Amended Provisional Constitution, and in particular on the material (23), (34), (51) thereof, 
Law No. (2) for the year 1962 organized fiscal policy in Qatar, as amended by Decree-Law No. (19) for the year 1996 
Decree-Law No. (22) for the year 1993 organized by the Ministry of Finance and Economy, Trade and set its terms of reference, 
On the proposal of the Minister of Finance, Economy and Trade, 
The bill submitted by the Council of Ministers, 
After taking the opinion of the Shura Council,


Articles

Article 1


 

The Ministry of Finance, Economy and Commerce shall be permitted to conclude a loan agreement in the amount of two hundred and fifty million U.S. Dollars ($250,000,000) with Gulf International Bank and participating banks, in accordance with the conditions stipulated in the said loan agreement.


 

Article 2


 

1. The Minister of Finance, Economy and Commerce, the Undersecretary, or the Director of the Public Finance Affairs Department at the Ministry, shall be authorised to sign and implement the said loan agreement.

2. The Undersecretary or the Director of the Public Finance Affairs Department at the Ministry shall be authorised to sign the loan agreement documents and to take the necessary measures to implement them, including making withdrawals from the loan pursuant to the conditions stipulated in the loan agreement.

 


 

Article 3


All competent authorities, each within their jurisdiction, shall enforce this Law from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
