Articles (1-3)

The Minister of Civil Service Affairs and Housing,

Having perused the Amended Provisional Constitution, in particular Articles 33 and 34 thereof;

Law No. 8 of 1998 on private associations and foundations, as amended by Law No. 3 of 2001;

Law No. 7 of 1999 organising the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs and Housing and assigning its competencies;

Emiri Resolution No. 29 of 1996 on the Council of Ministers’ Resolutions to be submitted to the Emir for ratification and issuance;

Council of Ministers Resolution No. 15 of 2003 amending the organisation of certain administrative units comprising the Ministry of Civil Service Affairs and Housing and assigning their competencies;

The Memorandum of Association and Articles of Association of Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection; and

The adoption by the Council of Ministers of the draft of this Resolution at its ordinary meeting No. 6

Articles

Article 1

The establishment of Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection, a Qatari shareholding company, has been approved.

Article 2

The Foundation shall be registered and proclaimed according to the provisions of Law No. 8 of 1998 referred to above.

Article 3

All competent authorities, each within its own jurisdiction, shall enforce this Resolution which shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette.
