The city of Al Ruwais must be delimited as follows:

Its boundaries polygon is composed of straight and curved geodesic lines joining eight points, being points 1 to 4 and points 10 to 13. Its coordinate locations between the geographic latitude and longitude are prescribed in the map and statement enclosed with this Law and its total area is 2.308.547 square meters.

Its general description is as follows:

Northern boundary:

It consists of a straight geodesic line joining points 1 and 2. Point 1 is the starting point and is located on the far north of the coast and about 650 meters east of the maximum existing construction. Point 2 is located south of Road No. 18 and about 860 meters south of point 1.

Southern boundary:

It consists of straight geodesic lines joining four points, starting with point 2, passing through points 3 and 4, and ending with point 10. Point 3 is located about 1,450 meters west of point 2 and forms  part of the southern boundary of the city which is completely parallel to Road No. 18. Point 4 is located about 80 meters north of point 3 and north of Road No. 18. The distance between points 3 and 4 forms a line perpendicular to and crossing Road No. 18. Point 10 is located on the shared boundary with the city of Al Shamal about 450 meters west of point 4, and ??the distance between them forms a line parallel to the north side of Road No. 18. This completes the remaining part of the southern boundary of the city of Al Ruwais.

Western boundary:

It consists of several straight geodesic lines joining four points, starting with point 10, passing through points 11 and 12, and ending with point 13. Point 11 is located on the shared boundary with the city of Al Shamal, about 850 meters north of point 10. The connecting line between them  forms part of the shared boundary of the two cities of Al Ruwais and Al Shamal, which is parallel to and about 450 meters east of the main Al Shamal Road.

Point 12 is located on the shared boundary between the cities of Al Ruwais and Al Shamal, about 250 meters northwest of point 11 and located east of the road leading directly to the port.

Point 13 is located on the shared boundary between cities of Al Ruwais and Al Shamal which is the ending point, and on the Gulf coast about 250 meters directly northeast of point 12.

Eastern boundary:

It comprises the Gulf coastline which is a tortuous line joining points 1 and 13, the starting and ending points.
