Resolution of the Minister of Civil Service Affairs and Housing No. 5 of 2003 Approving the Establishment, Registration and Proclamation of Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection

Memorandum of Association of Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection, a Qatari Shareholding

Article 1

The name of the Foundation shall be Qatar Foundation for Child and Women Protection (Q.S.C).


Article 2

The Foundation’s headquarters and legal domicile shall be in the city of Doha and it may establish branches or offices inside or outside Qatar in accordance with the annexed Articles of Association.


Article 3

The capital of the Foundation shall be two million (2,000,000) Qatari Riyals.


Article 4

  1. The management of the Foundation shall be undertaken by a board of directors formed as follows:


  1. Dr. Noura Bint Khalifa Turki Al- Subaie- Chairperson
  2. Mr. Mohammed Abdul Rahman Al-Dosari- Vice-Chairperson
  3. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Hajar Al-Binali - Member
  4. Dr. Khalifa Ahmed Al-Jaber - Member
  5. Major HadiMisfer Al-Hajri - Treasurer


  1. The Vice-Chairperson shall replace the Chairperson in case of his absence or vacancy of office.
  2. The Foundation shall work in accordance with the Articles of Association issued by the Board of Directors, after their adoption by the founder, and with the Law of Private Associations and Foundations.

Article 5

A preparatory committee shall be established at a later date to prepare draft bylaws necessary for the management of the Foundation, the regulation of its works, and the achievement of its objectives. The formation of such committee shall be passed by a resolution of the Board of Directors.

On this 8th day of Ramadan, 1423 A.H, corresponding to 13th day of November, 2002 A.D.,

We, Mozah Bint Nasser Al-Missned, as the Chairperson of the Supreme Council for Family Affairs, and desiring to contribute to the work of righteousness and public benefit and charity in general, have decided to establish a private foundation in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 8 of 1998 on private associations and foundations, and to allocate the necessary funds thereto in accordance with the following:
